Recently, the condition of concrete cracks due to shrinkage has appeared widely on buildings (slabs, hydroelectric dams with RCC concrete, docks, Thu Thiem underwater tunnel) which causes anxiety for users, especially for the persons who have poor understanding on concrete crack condition and think that cracks on the structures means unsafe and dangerous during servicing. But in fact, it is not completely true. The concrete cracks due to shrinkage can be well repaired and the repaired positions will have better quality than normal concrete positions.

Concrete cracks and monitoring equipments
standard ASTM C 881) into the cracks. The effect of epoxy is to attach two surfaces of crack, improve bearing capacity & anti-corrosion for RC structure, and prevent the leakage condition of hydroelectric dams and hydro dams.
However, pumping epoxy into cracks is not easy and depending on the factors (such as the width & depth of the cracks, strengthening way for crack edges during pumping, pumping equipment, pressure adjusting during pumping, epoxy type which is suitable for each crack, etc.), especially the experience and treatment method applied during pumping (if equipment and material is in good operation but operator is not good at this work, the result will not be effective). If pumping method is not good, epoxy will not penetrate into cracks meaning repairing method will be useless.
Being the first company acting on treatment for defects of the buildings basing on modern technology, for the past time, we have repaired cracks for many building in the country, especially hydroelectric dams by using technology of RCC compaction by rolling. For some hydroelectric dams, we had to use 5600 kg of epoxy for 4 cracks. By this way, we help contractors to reduce much the cost for this work because if this work to be done by foreign companies, they will have to pay much more.

High pressure pumping system is pumping epoxy into the cracks.
